A designer may want a creative LED display to sit almost flush against a wall. It looks cleaner, saves floor space and helps the screen become part of the architecture

There is almost no space behind the LED display. Can the project still work?

In many cases, yes.

However, a small rear clearance does not simply mean choosing a thinner LED module. The mounting frame, cables, power supplies, receiving cards, ventilation and future maintenance all need to be considered before production.

For a custom-shaped LED screen, this planning becomes even more important because the structure may be curved, angled or completely irregular.

Why Limited Back-Wall Space Can Become a Serious Problem

A conventional rear-service LED display needs enough space behind the screen for technicians to enter or reach the internal components.
